Wally Funk, trailblazing aviator who waited 60 years to go to space, dies at 87

Wally Funk, a pilot and air safety investigator, died at age 87. Funk flew on a Blue Origin spacecraft in July 2021 as a passenger alongside Jeff Bezos. She had pursued aviation for over 60 years before that spaceflight.
