Susan Saint James, Emmy-winning actor of ‘McMillan & Wife’ and ‘Kate & Allie,’ dies at 80

Susan Saint James, an Emmy-winning actor known for starring in the television series "McMillan & Wife" and "Kate & Allie," died Monday at age 80. People magazine reported she died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. In "Kate & Allie," which aired in the 1980s, she starred opposite Jane Curtin in a sitcom about two divorced women raising three children in New York City.
