Spain: VOX and People's Party Announce Senate Race Alliance to Defeat Socialists in November Snap Elections

VOX and Spain's People's Party announced an electoral alliance on Monday under which they will not compete against each other in select Senate races for the November 29 snap elections. The agreement allows both parties to coordinate candidacies in those contests rather than split the non-socialist vote. Spain's government called the snap elections following political tensions earlier in the year.
