Webuild, Odebrecht in Line to Build Key African Copper Rail Line

Webuild SpA of Italy and Odebrecht Engenharia & Construção SA of Brazil were selected as preferred bidders to build an 830-kilometer section of the Lobito Corridor rail line. The project connects copper and cobalt mining regions in central Africa to a port on Angola's Atlantic coast. The full corridor extends through Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia.
