Oil Markets Brace for Renewed Iran Fighting

Ziad Daoud, Bloomberg Economics Chief Emerging Markets Economist, said on Bloomberg This Weekend that the risk of renewed fighting between the United States, Israel, and Iran is rising. Daoud told hosts David Gura and Christina Ruffini that the conflict could remain a long-term stalemate with heightened shipping costs and depleted stockpiles. He said these factors could continue to affect global energy supplies, and that oil prices remain elevated despite recovered energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
