SpaceX is on track for record-setting Starlink deployments

SpaceX deployed 1,589 Starlink satellites in the first half of 2026, according to satellite tracking data compiled by Jonathan McDowell, compared to 1,489 satellites deployed in the same period of 2025. The 2025 deployment rate was the highest annual total in the company's history at that time.
