Comcast Rises on Split; Iridium Up on Rocket Lab Deal | Stock Movers

Comcast announced plans to separate into two independent publicly traded companies through a tax-free spin-off of NBCUniversal and Sky, with Comcast shareholders receiving shares in both entities upon completion. Iridium will be acquired by Rocket Lab in a transaction intended to combine space and satellite capabilities. SpaceX will be added to the Nasdaq-100 Index prior to market open on July 7, 2026.
