South Korea’s $1.9 Billion Bond Sale Sets Annual Record

South Korea sold 2.5 billion euros in euro-denominated bonds on February 18, 2026, according to the South Korean Ministry of Finance. The sale occurred ahead of the country's typical issuance schedule. South Korea's foreign-currency reserves had been used previously to stabilize the Korean won's exchange rate.
