US launches more strikes on Iran with blasts reported in south of country

The United States conducted military strikes on Iranian targets in the southern part of the country, according to reports of explosions in the region. President Donald Trump stated the attacks were "retribution for yesterday's bombing of ships by Iran." Iran had previously announced it would retaliate in response to earlier military action.
