Graham Platner drops his bid for Senate after facing an allegation of rape

Graham Platner ended his campaign for U.S. Senate in Maine after a rape allegation was made against him. Platner had been running to challenge Republican Senator Susan Collins. Democratic leaders withdrew their support for his candidacy following the allegation.
