Insurance giant says it’s turning to AI to replace as many as 1,800 jobs

Allianz Partners announced plans to eliminate between 1,500 and 1,800 positions from its workforce of approximately 23,000 employees through automation and artificial intelligence. The company did not specify a timeline for the job reductions. Allianz Partners is a subsidiary of the German insurance group Allianz SE.
