Venus Williams-backed WeWard can now lock your apps until you hit your steps

WeWard, a French app backed by tennis player Venus Williams as an angel investor, added a feature that locks users' applications until they meet daily step goals. The company stated in its announcement that users of the app have increased their walking time by almost 25 percent. The locking feature applies to apps selected by the user and can be unlocked once the daily step target is reached.
