Chris Mason: It's far from certain whether by-election will strengthen Farage

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage will face a candidate from Count Binface's Monster Raving Loony Party in a Clacton by-election, as the Conservative Party, Labour Party, and Liberal Democrats have announced they will not field candidates in the seat. The by-election date and turnout projections have not been announced. Farage previously won the Clacton seat in the 2024 general election.
