Denmark PM vows to defend Greenland after Trump revives push for U.S. control

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that Denmark will defend Greenland's sovereignty in response to President Donald Trump's renewed interest in U.S. acquisition of the territory. Greenland is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark. Trump has previously expressed interest in purchasing Greenland, and the topic resurfaced in recent statements from the Trump administration.
