NYT columnist says she 'deeply' regrets praising Senate hopeful after rape allegation

Michelle Goldberg, a columnist for the New York Times, wrote that she regrets an earlier column in which she praised Graham Platner, a Maine Democrat running for Senate. A rape allegation against Platner surfaced after Goldberg's column was published.
