Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya's lawyer told the BBC that when visiting his client last week in Israeli detention, he observed injuries to Abu Safiya's body. The lawyer stated he had difficulty recognizing Abu Safiya due to the extent of these injuries. Abu Safiya, a Palestinian doctor, has been detained by Israeli authorities.
