Dangote Says Kenya Refinery Will Cost as Much as $17 Billion

A spokesman for Dangote Industries Ltd. confirmed that a refinery planned for construction on Kenya's coast will cost as much as $17 billion. Aliko Dangote, founder and chief executive of Dangote Industries, is listed as Africa's wealthiest individual by net worth. The refinery project location has been identified as a coastal site in Kenya.
