Tuesday, July 7, 2026
Some companies have implemented policies for employees with caregiving responsibilities for aging family members. These policies include flexible scheduling, remote work options, and unpaid leave programs. Companies offering such arrangements include CVS Health, which expanded its caregiving leave policy in 2023, and Patagonia, which offers flexible work arrangements. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported in 2023 that approximately 21 million American workers provide unpaid care to adult family members.
