Felled Sycamore Gap stump has 'encouraging' growth

A thick layer of growth has developed around the stump of the Sycamore Gap tree three years after it was cut down. The tree, located in Northumberland, England, was felled in September 2023. Officials monitoring the site reported the regrowth on the remaining stump.
