Oil prices rose and U.S. stock futures declined after President Donald Trump rejected Iran's proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday. Trump said negotiations may resume this week. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical shipping passage through which roughly one-fifth of global oil passes annually.
