Texas clinic owner convicted in $26M military health fraud tied to gold-plated Cybertruck

Kevin D. Curry, owner of a Texas clinic, was convicted of submitting $26 million in fraudulent claims to TRICARE, the military health insurance program, between 2019 and 2023. According to court documents, Curry used proceeds from the scheme to purchase a gold-plated Tesla Cybertruck and fund personal expenses. The conviction included charges related to healthcare fraud and kickbacks tied to transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy claims submitted on behalf of military beneficiaries.
