Golf star Tom Kim going from Presidents Cup to Asian Games seeking exemption from military service

Tom Kim scored three of four points for his team at the Presidents Cup and is traveling to Japan to compete in the Asian Games. In South Korea, a gold medal at the Asian Games can exempt an athlete from mandatory military service. Kim has not yet secured the exemption and must compete in the Games to pursue that outcome.
