Apple faces $5.7 billion patent infringement verdict over iPhone and Apple Watch haptics

A federal jury found Apple infringed two haptics patents held by Taction Technology and awarded damages of $5.7 billion. The infringement concerns technology used in iPhones and Apple Watches. Apple stated it plans to appeal the verdict.
