Keeneland CEO on Annual Yearling Sale

Shannon Arvin, Keeneland's CEO, said the annual yearling sale is running 3% to 4% ahead of last year's pace and is projected to exceed $550 million, which would make it the largest horse sale in the world. Arvin attributed the increase to strong demand and continued interest in horse racing. Last year's sale increased by 24% over the prior year.
