Florida GOP nominee blasts 20-year Dem incumbent as a 'socialist' rubber-stamp with 'precious little to show'

Former Florida legislator Mike Beltran announced his candidacy to challenge 10-term incumbent U.S. Representative Kathy Castor in Florida's 14th congressional district. Beltran stated that Castor has been ineffective and out of touch with constituents. Castor, a Democrat first elected to Congress in 2006, represents the Tampa-based district.
