SpaceX Stake Helps Drives 37.3% Return for Washington University

Washington University's endowment gained more than $2 billion in value from an investment in SpaceX made approximately a decade ago, according to the university. The SpaceX stake was among the largest contributors to the endowment's 37.3% return in the most recent fiscal year. Washington University did not disclose the size of its initial SpaceX investment or the current value of the holding.
