Iranian president blames US for Middle East conflict while denying nuclear ambitions, offers to dilute uranium

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran would submit its nuclear program to international verification and dilute enriched uranium stockpiles. Pezeshkian attributed regional conflicts in the Middle East to U.S. foreign policy. Iran's nuclear program has been subject to international scrutiny under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the 2015 nuclear agreement from which the United States withdrew in 2018.
