E-bike injury payouts top £110m and push up insurance premiums

E-bike and other micromobility vehicle injury claims have reached £110 million in total payouts, according to insurance industry data. The first such claim was filed seven years ago. Insurance premiums have increased as a result of the rising claim volume. Major insurers and claims management companies attributed the increases to growing numbers of e-bikes and scooters in use.
