James Copenhaver, who was shot during the July 2024 incident at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, died from complications related to his injuries. Copenhaver was among multiple people wounded when Thomas Crooks fired shots at the event. The incident also resulted in the death of one attendee and injuries to another person besides Copenhaver.
