Reddit mod ordered to pay Nintendo $4.5 million in Switch piracy lawsuit

Nintendo won a $4.5 million judgment against James Williams in federal court in Washington on Wednesday. A judge issued a default judgment and ordered Williams to shut down online stores that Nintendo alleged housed pirated Switch games. Williams, identified as a Reddit moderator, was accused of distributing the pirated games.
