Gemini can now call businesses for you so you don’t have to wait on hold

Google launched an experimental feature on Pixel 11 devices that enables the Gemini AI assistant to place calls to local businesses on behalf of users. The feature allows users to request tasks such as making reservations, confirming product availability, or rescheduling appointments without initiating the calls themselves. Google stated that users can instruct Gemini to complete these calls without manually dialing the business.
