Google and RWE Back German Nuclear Startup Proxima Fusion at €2.4 Billion Valuation

German startup Proxima Fusion raised 411 million euros from investors including RWE AG and Google in a funding round that valued the company at 2.4 billion euros. The company is developing a nuclear fusion plant. Proxima Fusion stated it aims to have the plant operational in the 2030s.
