Riley Green thought he'd 'frame houses for the rest of my life' before becoming a country music star

Riley Green told Billboard he left Jacksonville State University to work in construction rather than to pursue a music career. Green had previously worked framing houses before transitioning to recording and performing country music. He did not initially plan to become a recording artist.
