Tehran takes aim at Canada for not condemning Trump's threat to destroy Iran

Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson Baqaei said Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Carney recharacterized a statement about Iran as "speaking the language of war" rather than using the term "annihilate." Carney's statement came after U.S. President Donald Trump made remarks about Iran that Iran's government characterized as a threat. The Canadian government did not issue a separate condemnation of Trump's statement.
