Contrary to some reports, you don't have two brains
Wednesday, September 23, 2026
The idea that humans have two separate brains is a common misconception, often stemming from oversimplified descriptions of brain anatomy and function. The human brain is a single integrated organ with two hemispheres that work together through connecting neural tissue, most notably the corpus callosum. While the left and right hemispheres have some specialized functions, they operate as one coordinated system rather than as two independent brains.
