UK Will Keep Sanctions on Russian Tycoons, Critical of EU’s Lift

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he disagreed with the European Union's decision to lift sanctions on Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman. The EU removed the sanctions in 2026. Burnham stated the UK would maintain its sanctions against both individuals.
