Poll: Most voters agree the 2026 midterms are all about Trump — and they disapprove

A poll by NPR, PBS News, and Marist found that 63 percent of respondents said the 2026 midterms are centered on President Trump, according to NPR. The same poll showed 55 percent of respondents disapprove of Trump's job performance. Respondents who wanted Democrats to win the midterms cited Trump as a primary factor in their voting preference.
