Trump: U.S.-Iran Talks ‘Went Very Well’ — There Is ‘Momentum’ Toward Deal

President Donald Trump said a three-hour round of U.S.-Iran negotiations on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly occurred Tuesday and that there was momentum toward a deal. The talks represented the first negotiating channel between Washington and Tehran since June. Trump made the remarks to Gulf and other regional leaders.
