Virginia Bishop Urges Catholics to Vote No on Abortion Amendment

Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of the Arlington diocese in Virginia called on Catholics in the state to vote against a constitutional amendment regarding abortion. Burbidge characterized the measure as extreme and unnecessary. The vote is scheduled for November 2025.
