Virginia school district faces probe over 9/11 teaching guide telling teachers not to ‘center the extremists’

Fairfax County Public Schools is under investigation by America First Legal over a 9/11 teaching guide issued to teachers. The guidance includes instructions not to center extremists in classroom discussions of the September 11 attacks. America First Legal initiated the investigation through a Freedom of Information Act request. The school district has not yet publicly responded to the probe.
