Risk Landscape is 'Fairly Perilous' Says AXIS CEO Vince Tizzio

Vince Tizzio, CEO of specialty insurer AXIS, said the company views the current risk landscape as challenging, particularly in marine insurance related to areas exposed to conflict such as the Strait of Hormuz. Tizzio stated that AXIS has increased policy pricing by 30 to 40 percent compared to rates from a year prior, citing high demand and the company's continued willingness to underwrite risk.
