Microsoft is laying off 268 Xbox staffers and Ninja Theory may close

Microsoft laid off approximately 260 Xbox employees on the reported date as part of what the company described as a restructuring of its gaming business. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma previously characterized July layoffs affecting 1,600 employees as "the most significant restructure in Xbox history." The layoffs are part of a total of 3,200 roles Microsoft announced would be eliminated from its gaming division.
