Amazon wants to help the Colorado River, but we still don’t know how much water the company uses

Amazon announced a $20 million investment in water conservation projects along the Colorado River, which supplies water to 40 million people across the Western United States. The company has not disclosed how much water its data centers consume. Amazon has set a goal to become water positive by 2030, meaning it plans to restore or return more water than it uses.
