Patricio Guzmán, a Chilean filmmaker, died at age 85. He directed a trilogy of documentaries about the 1973 military coup in Chile and a second trilogy examining the period following the coup. Guzmán's films included "The Battle of Chile," "Chile, Obstinate Memory," and "Nostalgia for the Light."
