Rep. Don Beyer: Going to Try to Stop Triumphal Arch

President Trump proposed modifications to a planned triumphal arch in Washington, DC that would include staging areas for military snipers and drone launch capability. The arch would be constructed in Memorial Circle, located between Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial, near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration has approved the project conditionally, requiring safety lighting. Democratic Representative Don Beyer of Virginia indicated he would attempt to block the construction.
