Australia’s Labor Government Extends Slide in Opinion Polls

A poll published by Resolve showed support for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's government at 37 percent, down from 39 percent in the previous survey. Albanese's personal approval rating fell to 35 percent from 37 percent in the same period. The opposition Liberal-National Coalition led 53 percent to 47 percent on a two-party preferred basis.
