Qatar Works to Bridge Gap in US Iran Talks

Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari said mediators are shuttling between capitals and exchanging proposals to restart negotiations between the US and Iran. Al-Ansari stated that Qatar's priorities include ending the conflict and restoring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. He said restrictions on international waterways could set a precedent for future disputes.
