Deprogrammed: Former DSA insider reveals ‘frightening’ socialist agenda drove him from ‘extreme’ ideology

Jake Altman, a former executive board member of the Democratic Socialists of America, stated that the organization silenced dissent and defended the government of Venezuela under Nicolás Maduro. Altman did not renew his DSA membership. The DSA has approximately 95,000 members according to the organization's website.
