Security researchers used Claude to help them hack into OpenAI

Three independent security researchers at Hacktron accessed OpenAI employee accounts within 72 hours using Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.8 and 5, according to the Wall Street Journal. The researchers gained access to OpenAI's GitHub repository called "Monorepo." The findings were reported by the Wall Street Journal.
