Family of Jagtar Singh Johal say Scot detained in Inida has been granted bail

Jagtar Singh Johal, a Scottish Sikh activist from Dumbarton, has been granted bail after being detained in India since 2017 on allegations related to terror offences. Johal's family made the announcement regarding his release. He was arrested in India nearly nine years ago in connection with the charges.
